hud/betpot issue

Postby bfineman » Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:40 am

i just installed pt3 and am having a tough time getting it's hud to work with the betpot script. at some point, i get the following message:

"There are known conflicts between the betpot autohotkey script and pt3's hud. To reduce the conflict, you may need to right-click and drag the PT icon or stats away from the area of the table displaying the pot amount."

at that point, i have to exit pt3 to regain control of anything. i've tried moving the PT icon all over the screen, as well as the stats as far from the pot amount as necessary. nothing seems to work. i can't find any answers that fix this problem in this forum or elsewhere...

i'm using xp professional.

help please!

Please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) and reproduce this issue then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log and C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHud.log files to a support ticket and we'll look into what could be causing this for you.

We haven't had many logs from players that show active problems in the sort of way you describe, so if we could get those logs we will look into it and see if there's anything we can do on our end to reduce the conflict.

after enabling logging, i tried to recreate the problem (opening betpot/pt3 and beginning auto import). i received the same error message right away, which like before, froze my computer until i cntrl+alt+delete'd out of pt3. unfortunately, this didn't create the file you asked me to send, so i'm left back where i started yesterday.

any further suggestions?

Those files are always created once logging is enabled and PT3 is restarted. Make sure you look in the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\ directory -- not the logs subdirectory -- and they may appear as text files named PokerTracker and PokerTrackerHud.

I'm afraid I don't have any more information on this issue at this point. If you could submit your log files as well, though, it would be useful for us in determining the underlying cause.
