i have been useing pokertracker fine for days and when i try to start load it up it says unable to open file to convert xml text to and it will not let me close the window what this all about

I assume you mean when you try to import hands? What version of PTO are you using? Try restarting your computer and try again.

yes i mean inport hands i have reset my computer 3 times

What version of PTO are you using? Are you importing iPoker hands or another site?

yes it is on an ipoker site the and the vesion is poker tracker omaha 1.13.01)

Are you using Windows Vista? If so were you always running all poker programs as administrator? See here:

If that's not the problem then iPoker must have the hand history file locked somehow. You should try to delete the .xml file manually using a Windows Explorer window.
